Meet Chloe and Eloise, best friends and students studying Commerce at Queen’s University in their third year. They started the Good Hood Club, (https://www.good-hood-club.myshopify.com) this past October with three other girls in Queen’s Commerce. We sat down and talked to Chloe and Eloise about the Good Hood Club and their journey getting the company on its way!

The Big Idea
Good Hood Club attempts to build a community united in comfort - healthy or sick, weak or strong, comfort is something we all seek and a hoodie provides just that. Cancer patients especially yearn for a high level of comfort, and with that being said we have designed a fashion-forward loungewear brand that champions pediatric oncology patients through comfort.
Biggest Challenge
Without a doubt, our greatest challenge was stocking inventory; stocking inventory is extremely risky and given a tight time frame we had no choice but to make educated guesses when ordering inventory. Thankfully, our predictions succeeded.
Future Goals
In the future, we hope to use Good Hood Club as a marketing platform for various non-for-profits. We believe the concept of comfort can be universally applied to various causes and we would be honoured to champion them.
The whole purpose of the Good Hood Club is to bring together a community of fighters supporting fighters. This is why Eloise and Chloe have branched off into their blog, the Fight Club, where they feature members of their community sharing their fight stories.
